Milan draw with Lecce; Wins for Lazio and Roma

AC Milan let passed the probability to open up a six point lead at the top of Serie A after drawing 1-1 with Lecce at the Stadio Via del Mare on Sunday. Zlatan Ibrahimovic put the guests ahead in the 49th minute with a striking volley. His 11th goal looked to have preserved all three points, but Ruben Olivera’s equalizer eight minutes from time deprived of the Rossoneri leaving them on 41 points from 20 games.
Lazio and Roma kept up the heaviness on Milan, but left it late to seal victory in their competitions.
A Libor Kozak header six minutes before the end of match was adequate to earn third-placed Lazio a 1-0 win over Sampdoria which means they are now level on points with second-placed Napoli who drew 0-0 with Fiorentina on Saturday.
